Ever since the advent of
T20 cricket, pundits have been drilling their emphatic views about how punishing it
is on a bowler to bowl in ridiculous, batting friendly environment.
This was definitely the case in the initial stages, but much to the delight of the fans and relief for the bowlers, the game is more in the balance these days and with the bowlers making serious in-roads there is an even contest in fantasy t20 cricket.

Records and statistics
will strongly reflect as to how the bowlers have been able to counter the
batsmen with their various skills and innovations.
Looking ahead into the t20 fantasy league, the bowlers will play a vital role in helping their respective sides go all the way. And, given the conducive wickets in South Africa, the seamers and pacers will get maximum purchase from the bouncy and seaming wickets.

The spinners too will have lots to work with. As the
wickets become dry and weary, the tweakers too can spin a web around the
batsmen. They too have proved their detractors wrong over the past few years
and are instrumental in changing the course of a match.
With a few days to go for the T20 domestic league in
South Africa, we have identified a few bowlers who could be topping the
wicket-taking charts as the T20 tournament rolls on…
Beuran Hendricks- He was the find of last year’s fantasy
cricket game in the bowling department. He
took off in fine fashion, making an impact by picking up 6 wickets in the very
first game. He is also trying to cement his place in the national squad and once
again will be the hot pick in fantasy cricket leagues.
Chris Morris- He has been a
veteran in the domestic circuit and has already proved his mettle in various
T20 Leagues. His ability to extract bounce and reverse the ball will fetch him
a bunch of wickets.
Keshav Maharaj-
He might not look very crafty, but he bowls well within his limits and gets the
job done. His biggest strength is bowling in the power-plays with the new ball.
A dark horse in fantasy cricket leagues.
Craig Alexander-
He is a hostile bowler who can nip the ball in and out at regular intervals. He
can be pacy and his biggest asset is bowling at the death. He had a successful
Slam T20 last year and will be keen on repeating the same.
Simon Harmer- A very under-rated
off spinner who might give the impression of being innocuous, but that’s his
way of enticing the batters into false strokes.
Rusty Theron- He is a veteran in this
format and will again draw from all his experience of playing in several T20
leagues. A thinking bowler with plenty of variations in his repertoire.
